How to Use the GPX Viewer

Our interactive GPX Viewer allows you to instantly visualize GPS data on a map without needing to install dedicated desktop GIS or mapping software.

Upload a GPX File

You can upload any standard .gpx file from your computer using the file browser or by dragging and dropping the file into the upload zone. The viewer will automatically parse the data and zoom the map to fit all tracks and waypoints.

View Tracks and Routes

Once loaded, the map will display your GPS tracks and routes. You can toggle their visibility and view summary statistics such as total distance and elevation gain.

Inspect Waypoints

Click on any waypoint marker to see its name, precise latitude and longitude, and other available metadata recorded in the file.

Supported GPX Data

This viewer supports the core geographic elements of the GPX format:

  • GPX Tracks: Records of traveled paths, including multiple segments.
  • GPX Routes: Planned navigational paths between destinations.
  • GPX Waypoints: Individual marked locations or points of interest.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. All GPX parsing and map rendering happens locally inside your browser. We never upload, store, or analyze the contents of your GPX files on our servers.
