1. Browser-Local Computations

At MapCalc, your privacy is our core architectural priority. All area measurements, distance calculations, coordinate conversions, and polygon traces are executed directly on your device using client-side JavaScript. None of your drawings, land dimensions, or coordinates are uploaded to or stored on our servers.

2. Geolocation

We do not automatically request or track your geographic location. When you explicitly click the "Find Me" button, your browser prompts for standard location permission. Your coordinates are used solely to place a pin on your local map display.

3. Log Data and Analytics

Like most standard web servers, anonymous server logs may record basic HTTP header data (e.g. browser type, operating system, and referral URLs) solely for traffic analysis and server health diagnostics.

4. Cookies & Advertising

We may display non-intrusive advertisements or partner links to support server costs. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites.
